Working out details for the closing, boxing and sorting stuff to get rid of, last-minute appointments (Bel and I got hair cuts today), making sure important meds have been refilled so we're good for a few weeks, regular running around and home maintenance - I'm tired. Making decisions wears your brain out quicker than anything else, and I'm making a million little odd decisions lately.
Tonight, Bel and I took a walk in the rain. We let Charlie come with us, and Bel talked her friend M into joining us too. So the four of us strolled around the block in a light drizzle. I'm going to miss our subdivision for the next several months while we're in the apartment complex. Hopefully I'll be able to find a route into the subdivision that's near the apartment for walks with Charlie and bike rides with the kiddos.
I think I had a dream (nightmare) last night that our stuff didn't fit into the apartment. In my dream we were winding our way through ceiling-high stacks of boxes to get from room to room. I hope it's not that bad in real life, but I'm definitely motivated to get stuff out of the basement this week. I think we might even rent a pickup for the weekend so we can haul stuff wherever. Jon likes the idea, anyway, so that's on my to-do list for tomorrow.
Speaking of to-do lists, I've gotten attached to TeuxDeux this month. It's an on-line to-do list that also has an app for my phone, and the list synchronizes across all my devices. It's kind of helped keep me sane the past week or so. That plus good old Google Calendar has kept me on top of things. Mostly.
