I'm reviewing my calendar for the week, and woo boy, there's a lot there. Besides work, I have a note to make bread for the teacher's luncheon on Wednesday, get Girl Scout cookie money together, and plan something for Saturday evening for Jon and me (church is holding a kids-only event, which means parents will be at loose ends. Yay!).
I've started scheduling specific tasks into my days, rather than just keeping a really really really huge never-ending to-do list. For example, on Tuesday I'm giving myself half an hour to finish and send out the email newsletter, half an hour to meet with our IT guy, an hour to meet with my circ supervisor and tech services librarian, and so on. Keeps me honest about how much I can accomplish. Otherwise my to-do list gets me down.
Otto had a snow day (or, rather, icy roads day) on Friday and gets another one today. I would really like to spend the day with him, but... work.
And that's my week in a nutshell. What's your plan for the week?
