well, OK, so technically we live in the 'burbs
but it's temporary, I swear - 7 years temporary, but who's counting?
(I might be. Shh.)
Anyway, we have a wedding anniversary coming up. Last year we had takeout from Slow's. In years past we've gone to Toronto, like we did for our honeymoon. I'm not sure what we'll do this year, but getting a sitter needs to move to the top of my to-do list. A stereotypical date night would be just fine by me, or an afternoon cruising DIYpsi and trying beers at the Sidetrack, or just about anything else as long as it's sans kids. I love them to bits, I really do, but mom and dad need some alone time.
Otherwise I'm worried that one of us might start singing this on a regular basis, move into the woods, and get a big blue-tick hound.
And odds are good it would be me, since I tend to be inordinately influenced by catchy songs with fun lyrics.
Well, maybe not in this case. I'm not all that fond of dirt roads, big bugs, and gardening. Come to think of it, neither is Jon. So I guess we're OK after all!
Whew. That's a relief.
