That's my grandmother, my cousin, her daughter, and my aunt by the sink (the aprons are adorable!), all in grandma's kitchen. It's been far too long since I've been in grandma's kitchen myself.
I think every significant event from my childhood took place in or near my grandmother's kitchen. Holidays were TORTURE because we couldn't open gifts or do anything else fun until the dishes were done from dinner. It probably took 15 minutes, but when you're 5 and it's your birthday, that's a loooooooooong time.
And then the handsome guy in the middle there - you know, standing next to his bride - is Luke, who I used to babysit when he and his siblings were all about as old as Otto and Bel are now. Way back when Sarah used to call him Lukey.
Well, you know, they turned out OK fantastic so I guess it's alright that they're all grown up and done with college and leading lives of their own (that's pretty Sarah in the pretty blue dress, and Luke again with Erika, whose wedding gown is gorgeous, and my mom looking all natty, and Paul, the baby of the family).
This is the true danger of living far from your hometown. You don't see all these wonderful people often enough to fully realize just how OLD you're getting, and when you do see them it's such a shock that you get even more gray hair.
Not that I have gray hair or anything. I'm just sayin'...
